Ingredients

  • Plastic rings designed in a spider shape
  • Candy corn pieces
  • Clear disposable gloves that are certified food-safe such as vinyl gloves
  • Plain popcorn prepared from 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
  • Decorative ribbon or twine

Instructions

  • Place one piece of candy corn inside the tip of every glove finger. Position each piece so that, when the glove rests palm-side upward, the candy corn resembles a fingernail.
  • Carefully pack plain popped popcorn into each finger. Use your fingers to gently guide smaller pieces of popcorn into the fingertips so that every finger is completely filled.
  • Continue adding popcorn to the palm and remaining portion of each glove until the glove is pleasantly full and forms a recognizable hand shape.
  • Twist the open end at the top of each popcorn-filled glove, keeping the popcorn securely enclosed.
  • Fasten the twisted opening firmly with decorative ribbon or twine for a festive finishing detail.
  • Slip a plastic spider-shaped ring onto one or more fingers to complete the spooky Halloween appearance.
