Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent-roll dough 8 triangles
  • 1 ⅓ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni slices or preferred pizza toppings
  • Pizza sauce warmed, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat a waffle iron, lightly coat the plates with cooking spray, and keep it closed while heating.
  • Unroll the dough; press two triangles together along their perforations to create four equal rectangles.
  • Distribute approximately ⅓ cup mozzarella and a layer of pepperoni over one half of each rectangle, fold the dough to enclose the filling completely, and seal the edges firmly.
  • Position a filled parcel in the center of the hot waffle iron, close the lid, and cook until the exterior turns deep golden and crisp—about 5 minutes, repeating for the remaining portions.
  • Serve the waffles immediately alongside a ramekin of pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For variety, substitute pepperoni with sautéed vegetables, cooked sausage, or sliced olives, keeping total fillings modest so the seams stay closed during baking.
