Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chopped flat-leaf parsley optional, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • ¼ cup golden honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 medium onion sliced into thin strips
  • 8 beef or pork sausages of choice
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Arrange the sausages in a baking dish or disposable foil tray, spreading them out in a single layer.
  • In a mixing bowl, stir together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and black pepper until fully combined.
  • Pour the prepared glaze over the sausages, turning to ensure each sausage is thoroughly coated.
  • Disperse the sliced onions around and on top of the sausages.
  • Transfer the dish to the oven and roast for 25 to 30 minutes. Rotate the sausages midway through cooking to ensure even browning and glazing.
  • Remove the sausages from the oven once they are cooked through and their surfaces are richly caramelized.
  • Let rest briefly before plating. If using, sprinkle with chopped parsley just before serving.
