These BLT wraps combine crisp iceberg lettuce, juicy tomato, smoky thick-cut bacon, and melted cheddar cheese inside warm flour tortillas. The recipe is assembled into hearty handheld wraps that may be served warm or at room temperature.
Place the bacon strips in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, turning the strips from time to time, until they are evenly browned and crisp.
Transfer the cooked bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess grease. Allow the bacon to cool slightly before assembling the wraps.
Set one flour tortilla on a microwave-safe plate. Scatter 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tortilla.
Microwave the tortilla for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the cheese has melted completely and begins to bubble.
Remove the tortilla from the microwave and immediately layer it with one-fourth of the cooked bacon, followed by lettuce and diced tomato.
Fold the outer edges of the tortilla toward the center, then roll it firmly into a compact wrap.
Continue the same process with the remaining tortillas, cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato.
Slice each finished wrap in half for easier serving. Serve the BLT wraps warm or at room temperature.
