Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 portion uncooked pizza dough
  • 2 ounces goat cheese crumbled for a soft and creamy finish
  • 3 to 4 thin slices prosciutto
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2/3 cup fig preserves such as Hero fig preserves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Place a pizza stone in the oven during preheating, if using, so it becomes thoroughly heated for a crispier crust.
  • Roll the raw pizza dough as thinly and evenly as possible into a rectangular or oval shape. Use a silicone baking mat or a sheet of parchment paper as the work surface.
  • Spread the fig preserves evenly across the prepared dough, leaving approximately a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
  • Scatter the shredded mozzarella over the fig layer in an even coating.
  • Arrange the prosciutto slices over the cheese, then sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese across the surface.
  • Transfer the pizza, still resting on the silicone mat or parchment paper, onto the hot pizza stone in the oven.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and lightly golden on top.
  • Remove the pizza carefully from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes so the toppings settle.
  • Slice into portions and serve warm.
